- I have been in the shear sales and sharpening business for over 34 years. About 16 years ago I began sharing my knowledge and experience with others. I have a talent for repairing damaged shears. Count me as the first woman to break into this field, but if you know me that does not strike you as unusual! It is a fun business and I totally enjoy the people that I work with. I do not live to work...I love people and I value my friendships and family
